All you need is love...(and a ribbon tie jumper...)

Despite the weather not being particularly  even slightly warm, its ok once the sun comes out....I mean, you'll still be cold, it just won't bring tears to your eyes. I keep telling myself the weather will only get warmer...lets just hope I'm right!

That aside, I decided to get myself some sun in pastures greener. My mum and I are heading to the Island of Kos in 10 DAYS! I simply cannot wait to feel the sun on my skin!

In the meantime, here is a spring outfit I've been living it. Mother nature, I've been dressing the part, so yours!

Sunglasses- Bought at the Brooklyn Flea (N.Y.C)
Scarf- Instant Vintage.
Jumper- Instant Vintage.

What are your summer plans?

Friday I'm in love!

Ever since Spring decided to grace us with its presence, I've been obsessed with printed trousers. I'm currently collecting out for my outfit posts next week!

While I love what I've picked up, I'm currently drooling over these pair too... I may have to give in to number four!

Bath in Fashion

Last week, I attended The Bath in Fashion catwalk show, and what a show it was! I went on behalf of work, so was very busy taking pictures but managed to get a few of my own...(not my finest photography!).

Oh hello spring, nice to see you!

After taking a bit of a break recently since my Grandma's passing away, I'm so happy to say I'm back to blogging!

I decided after been told that she had gone, that I would plan the funeral, and read her eulogy at it. My Grandma only had my mum and I felt I was the only person that could speak. It was my final opportunity to do something for her, that I think she would have loved.

By planning the funeral (and Zach decided the most beautiful order of service programs- I will always love him for that), and worrying about getting choked up at the funeral, I took a step back from my blog. I carried on with my job, and I didn't want to slack, I cannot slack, so I tried to keep myself together but cutting something out temporarily.

Trench- Burberry.
Scarf- Instant Vintage.
Blouse- Ted Baker.
Skinny Jeans- Gap.
Pumps- Insant Vintage.
Sachel- Moroccan, found in a second hand shop.

And Guess what? I read with out a hiccup (how, I'll never know...)

Its been difficult but I'm getting there, and I'm so happy to start up my blogging again! And hey, its spring too now, everyday seems to get easier!

My beloved Grandma, 1925-2013.

You may notice I have been absent from my blog and other such things. My grandma has sadly passed away after being unwell for a very long time.

I'm sure you can imagine it has been very sad for us as a family, despite knowing she would not get better, so I won't go into all that.

Instead, I will celebrate her life....

My grandmother, the style icon. Fashionable always, even in her late seventies; she donned a mini skirt. She would make her own clothes, and was lucky enough to go to Paris, and shopped till her well dressed arms dropped.

She loved dogs- her black lab Patti would sit in the back of my grandparents convertible car as the drive on day trips or for picnics. They took wonderful pictures and truly looked like film stars ( perhaps I'm slightly biased!).

I spent my life being asked by my grandmother; sick or well, where I got my clothes from. It was only in the last month that she hadn't. I knew it meant the end.

Although this is a sad time, we are celebrating my dear grandmothers life- it is what she would have wanted. Enjoy the snaps!
